Kishangarh Dumping Yard – Artistic and absolutely Instagram – worthy.
Morning: Ajmer (Starts 7:00 to 9:00 AM)
Your day begins in Ajmer, where you’ll first visit the iconic Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the shrine of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. The atmosphere is something peaceful, the sound of Qawwali, the fragrance of flowers, and thousands of people gathered together in devotion. Take a short drive to Ana Sagar Lake, an artificial lake built in the 12th century.
Mid-Morning: Pushkar (10:00 AM to 9:00 PM)
Take an 11 kms drive to Pushkar, where the vibe is totally different. Something ancient, real, and peaceful, and you’re in Pushkar. India’s oldest and most sacred towns, around a holy lake and streets lined with colorful shops, flower sellers, and local eateries. Here’s what we’ll explore in Pushkar:
Brahma mandir, the creator in Hindu mythology. It’s a must-visit, both for its spiritual significance and its beautiful architecture.
Pushkar lake & ghats, where taking a holy dip, priests perform rituals, pigeons flying over the water.
Pushkar Bazaars, are the most famous for handmade jewelry and silver items, tie-dye and block print clothes, camel leather bags, and local snacks.
Afternoon: Kishangarh (2:00 PM to 4:30 PM)
Now here’s the next stage that surprises everyone. Most people haven’t heard of the Kishangarh Dumping Yard, a marble slurry dumping ground that has slowly transformed into one of Rajasthan’s most photogenic spots.
Evening: Drop off (5:00 PM to 6:00 PM)
As the sun starts to set, we’ll head back and drop you off at your pre-defined spot in Ajmer, Pushkar, or Jaipur, depending on where you began.
